Encouraging Encounters with God’s Word

When we are overwhelmed by the guilt of our sin, our default response is to “do better, and try harder,” even with the means of grace God has given us to deal with our sin.

But the proper response may be to do nothing, except to rest in the righteousness of Jesus.
