What the Apostle Paul is concerned to demonstrate in Ephesians 5:3-7 is that vileness, uncleanness, or any sordid behavior has no place in the life of the Christian at all. The person who behaves in the way which Paul describes as a pattern of his or her life has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
