The Word - Part 2

John desires for his readers to understand that the "Word," or "Logos," is not impersonal reason, or science or logic. The "Word" is a person who has eternally existed with God, and who himself IS God, and who at a specific point in history entered into the world of fallen humanity and "became flesh" so that he might reveal and display the glory of the Father to the end that the world through Him might be saved.
